Can see the logic in the Buttler experiment but these two need to open. Bairstow in the zone so far.

Knew I shouldn't have said anything

This. Buttler down to 6, Roy and Bairstow open, drop Denly and bring in Malan/Banton at 3.

Brilliant chase. 3 fantastic half centuries in there, take a bow Buttler, Bairstow and Morgan.

Great series too, all 3 games going to the wire. SA look a decent t20 side and could challenge for the WC, look to have a decent fast bowling unit which will pay dividends in Australia.

Superb stuff, South Africa haven't played badly and we should have won 3-0. Batting line up is so strong, only takes a couple of them to turn up and you're looking at 200 plus most innings. Not sure if bowlers need to improve it just the nature of international T20 cricket.

Entertaining series but the strength in depth the difference.

You just can't call one off matches in T20. All it takes is one team having a couple of players on red hot form and the other an off day. I know they're still decent sides but Pakistan and West Indies weren't exactly favourites to win the last few tournaments, even ourselves in 2010. On paper we should probably be winning the series 3-0 but one slip up isn't bad at all

Thought I’d open a new thread as we’re still using 2019 as things stand.

T20 series against South Africa starts today.

Reckon Eng will win the series 2-1.

Well they did win 2-1 but took a right scenic route. 3 wild classics!

A T20 Champions Cup that would have the world's top 10 nations ploughing through no fewer than 48 matches - the same number as last year's 50-over World Cup - is the most contentious event in the ICC's proposed suite of tournaments for the 2023 to 2031 broadcast rights cycle.

Just what we need when the top nations are crying out for more breathing space in the schedule, while the associate nations are crying out for more cricket.

The ICC manage to make FIFA look like bastions of sanity in sport governing body world.
