Which gets your vote as the best? Why?

I'll add suggestions to the poll as we go along so if your fav isn't there I can add it before you vote.

Western out of those for me. You’ve missed Ale Wagon though which is mentioned on here a lot which is good. Parcel Yard I also think deserves to be on that list and I also quite like Queen of Bradgate when I’m back in town.

Remember The Gateway near De Mont? Gutted I was never old enough to drink in there. Used to go in with my dad before football when I was a kid. Don’t know why this thread has made me think of that. Good memories.

R&D for me although I’m not finding it to be as good as it was in the past. Probably comes into its own in the summer as it has a decent outdoor space.

All pretty average sadly.

Rainbow and Dove? Yeah better in the summer with all the buttocks on show

Queen of Bradgate for a casual drink.

High Cross for a cheap piss up.

Royal Standard for an afternoons racing.

Ale Wagon for an afternoons reading.

Kings Head for a decent beer.

Fountain for karaoke.

Salmon for a decent cider or conversation. (My ancestors owned the pub in the 1850s I've recently found out)

None of the above.

Probably Tonne at the moment, decent beer, never too crowded, decent atmosphere, staff aren't overly snobbish about what they serve, nice location.

Could do with some actual furniture upstairs but still.

Edit: if forced to vote off that list, Kings Head I guess but we probably only go there cos we work near by.

Rutland and Derby is bang average. Arse fell out of the Swan and Rushes when it was refurbed. Havent been in the Western for many years now.

The Kings Head is good after the game but pre-match you have to turn up as the doors open to get a seat these days and it's a really awkward pub to stand in when it fills up because of the shape/layout. Good cobs tho.
