Really horrible news, fell down the stairs? Just nasty that is. He was as devastating a player in the Championship as there ever has been IMO, for a few years he was just a beast to come up against, absolute bull hammer of a left foot.

In a boozer apparently. Top class championship player with a wand of a left peg.

RIP :(

A player Id always hoped we would sign. Tragic loss.

Side note though, Id erased how bad Weale was at free-kicks from my memory before this brought it all back to me

A super player at championship level. A type of player who would easily have held his own at a higher level ability wise but needed a slightly smaller pond at Cardiff to really flourish

Poor fella

Hated him when he took that free kick about 5 meters from where it should have been taken....but good player and no age.RIP

Amazed he'd only spent a total of 4 years at Cardiff? Felt like he was there most of his career.

Nah he was there 2007-17.

He was there for a decade and played over 400 matches apparently

Born in Nuneaton aswell

One of the best players in the Championship of that era and Cardiff just seemed the right club, his goal/assist record at that level was superb for them. RIP

He's became so synonymous with Cardiff I'd often forget he wasn't Welsh.
