5waller5 Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 When?? I genuinely can't remember us ever playing that badly for a whole half, especially after such a dominant first half. Millwall under Sven second half would be my shout.
Ted Maul Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Possibly Pompey 2010, but I'd say the implications of this make it worse. Villa 2004?
Fox92 Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Palace beat us 1-4 under Puel (and then he got sacked).
LiberalFox Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Losing to wolves when we were 3-0 up was pretty bad, think this is worse just because we were actually pretty bad back then and here we just folded for no reason at all.
shailen Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 It's got to be the wolves 4-3. It just feels like that again.
TrentFox Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Trouble is, it’s not just 45 minutes. This is many games since restart - all of which have been crap. Anyone else remember the implosion of the Taylor reign? Don’t dismiss it. It isn’t impossible. A busted flush in charge and a broken spirit. Dangerous concoction.

Not just since the restart... we’ve been bad/iffy/inconsistent since Norwich at home in December.
Leicesterpool Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Hammering at Portsmouth in 2010 was a total horror show, going bottom of the championship. Thank god the Sousa reign was short and sweet!

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Either half v Newport when you consider the standard of the opposition. Taken some tankings in the top flight but never felt as grim as I did when we lost to a side three divisions below us, tonight is worse though, almost categorically.

Yeah I agree, this is starting to feel all too familiar to the Tater Pealer's reign

Yeah somehow cup loses hurt in a different way! And the whole game v Newport was awful .... this was such an awful 45 following a pretty decent 45 so makes it more of a contrast?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 Hard to find a 45 minutes in the history of our club that was any worse

Tielemans63 Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 I don't recall ever being this gutted, even after all the games mentioned above.

Shame as we were OK 1st half!
Reg Vardy Posted 12 July 2020 Posted 12 July 2020 They actually played well first half.......look on the bright side if Wes, Evans and Bennett play-on Thursday We’ll have a back 3 over 100 years old.....

This is the game I first think of when I think of bad games for us. Might have changed after todays performance

Yeah I thought we were really comfortable at half time and couldn't see how we couldn't win!! Blimey - that's scary - Bennett looks over 50 when he tries to turn anyway!
