The incident occurred before the final whistle, So its valid, Brighton should know better. However, Man Utd robbed those points.

If it had been at the other end it wouldn't have been a penalty.

That was never ever a pen I can’t believe anyone is saying it should have been. Also Dyche lmao what a nutter, Chris Wood pushed Justin way harder last week but I assume that was fine as he was just using his strength? Well where was his strength then?!

Anyone know why that goal was just ruled out?

Offside apparently but isn’t the lineman supposed to let play carry on

Does VAR not check offsides this season

That’s what’s commonly known as a massive COCK UP !

lino shouldn’t flag and ref shouldn’t blow up

once ref has blown his whistle there can’t be a var check ....

Yeah I thought they were told to keep their flag down?! Why does the rule keep changing every single game!

Every bit as shambolic as last season. Almost as if introducing a metric that adds ultra scrutiny to every bit of officiating is fundamentally flawed. Another season wasted on this shite.

When it's that tight, yes.

So flag went up ref blew whistle which means anything after don’t count so no var check lucky for the ref he appeared to be offside

It actually was offside, linesman did what you did in the good old days before VAR - flagged when he saw an offside.

I honestly don't see the point of linesmen at this point.
