That fight for 4th place is just as tight as the Prem!

Would be incredible to be able to clinch that first season after promotion

Any rumours about any more incomings?

I'm still hoping for a backup striker and a central defender, but I don't think that's going to happen.

We can give you Iheanacho and Amartey, in exchange for Henry and Mercier? Deal? lol

We might be losing Henry actually. Both Celta De Vigo and Besiktas are very interested and Besiktas even made an offer, but OHL refused.

Can’t see you letting him go this late in the window, how much was offered?

Get the man a new deal so at least you can ask for more money when the interest returns in the summer!

I doubt they will let him go, but you never know. No idea how much they offered.

.....I feel OHL needs to start building from the back!!!

Need to start playing with a back 3/5 with Wing Backs in order to try to control the games. We have far too many shoot outs and we are second in all of them and falling away rapidly. This is a league where we can be top 4, with a better strategy. We seem to want to release the ball over the top but we need accuracy and at present we can't find our men too often. This team looks ideally made to play on the counter because at present we struggle to cope with the end to end games we are playing right now.

Sowah, Mercier and Henry are a very good strike trio and needs to be utilised in a different way.

According to the papers (include pinch of salt), the offered wasn't refused and they're still negotiating. It seems that Henry would like to go, and I don't believe they want to hold him here against his will. If the money's right, I'd take the risk of letting him go and either get someone else in or just play Allemeersch and Vekemans more often.

If they do, will you change your username? :D

The 31-year-old Kawin Thamsatchanan is again in Leuven, after his adventure in the Japanese J League. Kawin is now out of his quarantine after he landed in our country last Friday. After that mandatory isolation, the Thai goalkeeper wants to compete with his colleagues Romo and Ravet.

Well three years ago, Thamsatchanan exchanged SCG Muangthong United for OH Leuven. At that Thai top club, the then national goalkeeper was under bar for about 150 matches and acquired the status of demigod. Kawin immediately stood out positively at OHL with his excellent mentality and the will to succeed in Europe.

In mid-February 2018, Thamsatchanan made his debut at OHL in the home game against Beerschot. In that penultimate game in the regular season, both teams shared the points. Kawin also defended the Leuven goal against Roeselare on the last match day and subsequently played in eight of the ten games in Play-off 2.

Thamsatchanan started the 2018-2019 season as the first goalkeeper of OHL. He was between the posts in the first nine league games. Afterwards, he struggled for a long time with a nasty foot injury that kept him aside until the end of the season. For example, the counter of the Thai goalkeeper at OHL got stuck at 19 league games.

In February 2020 OH Leuven loaned its goalkeeper for one season to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in the Japanese J League. Kawin is back in Leuven since last Friday. Welcome back, Kawin!

@Bonanza will this be used as an opportunity to give the likes of Kingy, Eppiah and Benkovic a chance?

It's possible, but Brys already stated that he will not field a B-team. I'd say that Eppiah stands a good chance for some game time, but for the two others it's hard to say. The main issue for them is that, due to the hectic schedule with two games per week we've had very little time to train tactically and on team cohesion which makes their integration into the squad harder. I'm fairly sure that in the next few weeks that should get better. :)

They've just sacked their manager haven't they? Paul Clement if people remember him from his time in England.

Correct. They've been playing quite good football actually, but are very leaky from the back and lack goalscoring ability. And their last game against STVV was apparently very, very bad from a determination and mentality point of view.
