This is why we have VAR, you can’t rely on refs to make the right decision. Newport didn’t get a stone wall penalty first half and then Morecombe get one for that to gain promotion? Just🤦🏻‍♂️

Doesn't really matter but it makes sense to work up through the leagues;

League Two - Saturday.

League One - Sunday.

Championship - Monday.

Yes but due to the Euro’s it gets switched whenever there’s a major summer tournament as championship teams could have players going away to training camps.

Derek Adam’s has done an insane job to get Morecambe promoted. One of the smallest budgets in the league, they don’t even have access to their training ground and their squad is full of people who’ve had very different journeys to make it pro. Their average gate is something like 2,000.
 

If he goes to Bradford as rumoured I can’t see them staying up, but fair play to them - brilliant achievement.

He probably thought it was downhill from here on in with Morecambe. Took them as far as he could, and cashed in on his great reputation. He should do well at Bradford with the better resources they have.
