And Newport scores late in extra time to move on to Wembley, 4-5 on aggregate!

Thought this was over at 3-0 Forest Green and didn't think to check the score - well done to Newport and Kevin Ellison!

Genuinely exciting that either Newport or Morecambe will be in League Two next season!

I suspect you mean League One.  But yes, if I am reading the Wiki stuff correctly, Morecambe have never been above League Two.

Newport County are continuing their improvement after bankruptcy in 1989.  They have been in League One before, but not since being reformed after bankruptcy (like I said, if I am reading the wiki stuff correctly).

Kenny Jackett Leyton Orient’s new boss that’s quite a coup for them at that level. Should be getting promoted next season

I've always liked Jackett. I think there was a point where he was at Millwall and I wanted him here lol

His record in the football league is good, sadly just couldn't get Portsmouth out of League 1. Hopefully he does well at Orient and it'd be nice to see them back into the third tier.

I seem to recall we were linked with him if my memory serves me right! 😅

Their plight and subsequent rise is as good as any phoenix club. They were at Level 9 of the Football Pyramid and had to play 80 miles from Newport. Fell out with the Wales FA because they refused to go in the League of Wales as it was semi-pro
