Either that or players don’t want to come to Leicester To be honest, this is our biggest problem. Nothing new, we just need patience and maybe to temper our own expectations 1

Danny280995 Posted 30 August 2020 Posted 30 August 2020 If people are not happy with the lack of transfers, then protest against the club and let them know the fans are not happy
Angus Scott Posted 30 August 2020 Posted 30 August 2020 Perhaps the 100 mill that we have spent on the still unfinished training ground would have been better spent on new players. After all Belvoir Drive is hardly the pits.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 30 August 2020 Posted 30 August 2020 Our transfer window after we qualified for CL was horrendous, I just hope the window after we qualified for EL isn't going to end up the same way.
Chrysalis Posted 31 August 2020 Posted 31 August 2020 I expect the lockdown status hasnt helped matters.

A state of the Art Training facility not only shows ambition but can entice players of a Calibre we once dreamed of signing, the club haven’t taken funds away from transfers that is the improvement budget as well as for the restructuring of the KP just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the KP restructure as this would be the ideal time without fans ?

You have to pay the price for high calibre players and unfortunately we just don’t have that

After all Belvoir Drive is hardly the pits. We've shown over the years that we have the capability of transforming players. A state of the art facility will secure that for years to come and most fans would be absolutely delighted at the prospect of long-term progress with the resources we'll have at our disposal when it's complete. Spending loads doesn't guarantee success. It hasn't for us and certainly hasn't for a lot of other clubs. When you look at the business that teams like Everton and West Ham completed - all on paper decent signings, albeit with massive fees. Neither have performed at all anywhere near the levels that we do. Important to remember that logic rather than impulsiveness should dictate our actions. 3

urban fox Posted 2 September 2020 Posted 2 September 2020 The fact that it appears that Castagne is a done deal surely shows we are actively chasing targets. This guy is a promising young international, currently with the Belgium squad, who surely spoke to Youri and Denis to get the inside track on what the club has to offer once the initial approach was made to him. The fact he seemed quick to sign, for me shows that all the talk of disharmony etc. Is BS. Any potential signing will talk to any compatriots already at a club to get a feeling of whether or not it is likely to be a good move, and he obviously decided it was.
