By Saturday the scenario could look like this:

 

All players back in squad (fines didn't happen)

Dave Rennie taken early retirement

Tagliafico, Trincao and Demiral signed

U-turn and apology on season tickets

Brendan turns out to be as happy as can be

 

 

Point being it's far too early to start making assumptions no matter how weird things have looked the last couple of weeks.

In my role as a futurologist - I identify wild things that may happen in the future and then say "if this was going to happen then what would the early signs me? And then I look to see if there are any such signs.  (EG if money was to be abolished in the future then we would be seeing venture capital going in to money alternatives).

The other way is this - to gather as a man strange happenings and figure out what it all points to

If I did something I was told not to at work they would discipline me.
