Lesta Legend Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 (edited) Good move for him, hopefully he'll come good for where he needs to be for a premier League side but guess this will go either way. Edited 15 September 2020 by Lesta Legend

Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 So this leaves us with 2 strikers? Will Perez or Barnes go up there or are we gonna sign someone else?

RowlattsFox Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 Decent move for him, but hard for a young striker going to a team likely to struggle. Would prefer a top league 1 side.

Most clubs don't have more than two out and out strikers. Perez and Barnes are still more likely to get the nod ahead of Hirst anyway. Not convinced by Hirst after his loan at OH Leuven so a year at Rotherham should tell us all we need to know about him. 2
Sharpe's Fox Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 Good club to go to and in South Yorkshire to boot so he should feel at home.

I've said it before bit if we are going to sign a striker this window and Iheanacho is staying then it needs to be a 18-20 year old who is happy to come here and learn whilst getting 5-10 appearances in all competitions. I'll do a list. 2 1

Suzie the Fox Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 Great news. Has played well since his return from Belgium. Let’s hope he has a better loan season than last. OHL guys really did think he was pants.

MPH Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 Rotherham... isn’t that where Iverson was? He came on keeps and bounds there...
moore_94 Posted 15 September 2020 Author Posted 15 September 2020 Just hope he manages to score against Sheff Wed at Hillsborough, the meltdown will be glorious
katieakita Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 Good move all round gives him much needed experience and to progress he has to do well for them
fazzyfox Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 We'll know a fair bit more about his level after this loan but I'd still like another CF around in case we get as threadbare as the end of the season. Are any of the other U23's likely to take his place in pecking order?

There's also Eppiah and Muskwe but hopefully they both get loans. 2

He's definitely happier playing as a striker, and I think it stunting his development last year having to play out wide to accommodate George Hirst. 1
