Ian Nacho Posted 1 October 2020 Posted 1 October 2020 Good player and prospect but made out of paper mache. Wouldn’t be too upset if we were able to break even.

No chance unless he plays a season on loan without missing more than half a dozen games ....... which won’t happen.
moore_94 Posted 16 October 2020 Author Posted 16 October 2020 (edited) Good loan move for him if it happens, a team that should be fighting for playoffs We understand one of the players Harris is looking at is Croatian international FIlip Benkovic, who previously signed for Leicester for £13 million. Harris has Sol Bamba as back-up to Morrison and Nelson, but needs another defensive body in as well if the Bluebirds are to make a genuine push for promotion. The Bluebirds manager has also been looking at other defensive options as he seeks to find the right man. Edited 16 October 2020 by moore_94
Corky Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 I thought he was pretty much our last available centre-back?

Is it thou, is he not just going to be 4th choice there, he needs a team that he could realistically be a starter & get over 50-75% of games not -25%

Always looked good when I saw him play (barring one bad game for Bristol city). With Amartey injured, and the fragile state of the rest of the centre backs, I’d definitely keep, and play him! Can’t understand why we’re going to send him out on loan, with the amount of games we have this season 🤷🏻♂️ Edited 16 October 2020 by FoxinNotts

Lambert09 Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Given the injury situation, surely it’s worth keeping him around? I’d feel okay with him and Fofana starting on Sunday. It’s a shame there’s no room for him in the EL squad.

Gazza M Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 He needs to play 40 games somewhere and prove his fitness. I rather he do that elsewhere as not sure he is good enough. If he is outstanding in the Championship then maybe he could become Premier quality.
Daveb5569 Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Looking likely that he may get a chance with all the injuries hitting the team 1
Stinkenzo Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Majorly ****s me off more than it should about how we have treated him, even more so with our injury problems. Even if we reckon he's not good enough why do we keep loaning him out, why don't we just get rid permanently?

Can't see his wage demands being a problem really, he's nowhere near Slimani level of stealing a living. Reckon we could easily find interest in some Bundesliga sides or mid-table sides in top leagues, we've seen worse players head abroad

Clubs do notice if a player has played consistently and the reasons will be clear to see. His injury problems proceeds him and unless he can complete a season without a major gap due to injury there will not be any takers. I would suspect at this very moment we probably couldn't give him away. 1

BKLFox Posted 16 October 2020 Posted 16 October 2020 Why so keen to sell him, the lad needs games there’s no conspiracy theory BR knows what he can do and rates him, he was excellent whilst at Celtic. A loan and a full run of games and I’m quite excited about next season, lil Wes, Cags and Benko + Evans looking after them and I’m sure another CB will be brought in and the position looks rosey for years to come.

No buyers, no sale.
