What's he been up to now.

Released a song that reflects his obsession with the Nazis.

Saw a popular post of social media saying if someone is sharp in their tone to AI then are very likely to be sharp in their tone to people if there were no consequences to their actions.

One of the most bizarre seemingly popular takes I've ever come across.

There is a link between human behaviour towards animals and the like and their attitude towards humans that can offer no consequences to any actions they might do, so there is a kind of precedent there.

Speaking personally and anecdotally, I'm very much of the opinion that people who are inclined to be dickish in the digital world can and will often be dickish and abuse power over those who cannot or will not respond in the flesh, too.

I get the animal/human link but a machine? Not having it, sorry.

You may well be right tbh, it's clearly only a hypothesis based mostly on anecdotes rather than anything near tested right now.

I guess my own worldview in this matter can be a bit twisted as well by the amount of casual cruelty I've seen in online interactions.

In RPG video games I sometimes, after completing a game in my usual positive/good fashion, try to do it again making all the evil choices. I find it really difficult though.

Not saying I'm as pure as the driven snow lol

I would be disturbed by someone who played such a game, going down the evil course, without realising that was what they were doing though.

Am I the only one who just don't recognise goalscorers for Brighton every single week???

No. But, I could say the same for half the players of many PL teams now. I'm not sure if it's because of our 'year off' last year and being so rubbish this year that I'm less interested and attentive, but I definitely went 'who' with no irony at half the team/player announcements at our matches this year.

The play-offs need to adopt the National League/ Scottish model and be moved from Wembley.

The fact the play offs for the EFL have all been stupid times (Thursday, Friday, late Sunday) is a piss take

Please help me understand something. because people say these type of things and I would like opinions on what you think they mean and what they imply.

'Proper' player

'Proper' footballer

'Proper' football ground

I kind of have my own views of these sort of statements and their assumed/co-opted meaning, some of them less than positive. What say you?

Good question.

Proper player. Hard worker, gives 100% never injured.

Proper footballer. Skilful, flair, always wants the ball.

Proper football ground. More difficult to explain. Usually older stadium in old part of city/town. Not always a good thing?

Thank you. It just reeks of 'everything was better when I wasn't fat, bald and incontinent' at times.

It’s a good point and I’ve often thought:

a) when will the current crop of happy clappers bin non league football?
b) when my generation is fat, bald and incontinent how will we hark back to these days in football? Will we exaggerate the benefits of var? Excessively overstate how great foreign ownership was? Spread hyperbole about how helpful it was when broadcasters moved ko times?

"3 o'clock on a Saturday?! What the bloody hell kind of time is that for a game? In my day it weren't a proper match unless it kicked off at 8.15pm on a Sunday to maximise viewing figures in the States."

'Proper players kept playing on when it was an obvious offside because the flag wasn't raised and VAR could intervene. Proper footballers burst their guts'

Probably a good idea for a thread this - what will the down-on-life happy clapper of 2050 sound like?
