My cousin had this and I thought it was GREAT, but when my parents succumbed and bought me my own it was quickly apparent that, much like Bigtrak, any entertainment that could be had from it would be exhausted within a couple of hours at best

Also, it was 65th birthday today. (Thank you for your birthday wishes btw). My family has bought me 2 Airfix models to build. I've not done an Airfix model for 50 years but I can't wait.

Hope you had a great day and hopefully the kits had improved a bit still a lot of molds from the 70's being used with the extra flash.

Not a toy, but deserves a mention

My kids love watching the 70s TV series, to the point that we had to buy a new box set at the first one got a bit scratched.

What a gem of a game. I was too young to be any good at it but I loved it all the same. Jungle Strike was great also.

Always used to run out of fuel and crash!

Speaking of transforming toys, I've recently started collecting Takara Tomy Masterpiece Transformers, with a couple of Fans Toys Transformers on the way, too.

Also got these Mecha Invasion beauties, as I somehow never managed to get all Constructicons as a kid:

That's Giant Legion – all individual Transformers are Masterpiece size. The complete thing is huge.
