Objectively speaking, Luke Thomas is probably around League one and lower championship level.

Yep. The most one footed player I’ve ever seen. But it’s not his fault. Local lad, doing his best. It’s shameful of the club that he’s the back up left back when we are a Premier League side. And he’s not the only bad one we have in the squad, there’s plenty.

Agree, though standards are currently so low, what constitutes a good game isn't anything special.

Even I agree he was decent today and I can’t bear the lad usually. Bar that weird bouncing ball over his head incident in the last min, played well.

Does his contract end at the end of next season?

 

I think he's more than good enough for the Championship, but if he's only got 1 year left on his deal, we might be better off trying to shift him for 3-5m in the summer?

Jon has heard your offer for 3-5mill for Thomas on an expiring deal, but he doesn't think that matches the value of the player so unfortunately it's a no, but you can always wait to get him on a free next season instead!

You've had an absolute 'mare there trying to correct someone who was right the first time. 'Bare' always means naked in some form.

Watched him a few seasons ago at Forest away and thought he was the worst Leicester city player I’d ever seen (been going since late 80s).

Thomas may have failed to develop as a player in the last five years (blame Rudkin, Rodgers and others for that).

 

But he's never plumbed the depths we used to see from the likes of Josh Low, Wayne Brown and others from that era who have thankfully been wiped from memory.

Wayne Brown was a good solid centre half.

He's looked alright last couple of times he's played but there's no way he should be near our team. Having said that there's 7/8 others in the starting line up you can say that about. 

 

I think next year as a squad player in Championship I'd be fine with him all day long. Knowing the clowns in charge though, he'll get a 6 year deal.
