Wouldn't be surprised to see him staying and playing as a left winger next season after selling Mavididi, which wouldn't be horrific if it meant Joseph at RB and Aluko at LB.

Could see him putting in the most effort out of anyone on the pitch yesterday, but yes, sadly a bit too late and far too many bad performances can’t patch over that.

Don’t see him going anywhere, perhaps in league 1 he’ll do better.

I think he improved under Rowett compared to under Cifuentes and those before him. Still poor overall, but then we can say that of every player bar Jordan James.

Get his wages in line with the level and he is 'bearable' at the level we've found ourselves at.

I'm not necessarily a fan, but can't hate him like most and we're going to need that many new players, I don't think he's a priority with how broke we are.

A bizarre performance last night of ****ing dogmuck in the first half, to just finally thinking **** it second half

Yes, he had a torrid first half against their winger. Luckily for Luke their lad didn’t come back out for the second- maybe that’s partly why LT had a good 2nd half, and really gave it his all! Still overall he had a crap season.

He was briefly the best he'd been since 2020/21 under Ruud last season. He's been wire to wire poor this season at a step down in level which is beyond bizarre bit the same can be said for many such as Mavididi.

I genuinely don’t hate Thomas as much as the rest of the *****. He’s limited but he try’s in his own limited way. I’m more bothered by the strollers, I hate the strollers.

Exactly, Luke Thomas is just a poor player - we have had poor players before.

If you give effort then I can support that, even if he as lightweight as a feather and falls over as Wingers run past him

Slowly getting closer to his senior league level of ability

He will still get brutally exposed in League one.

There are a lot of strong and quick players at most levels and sadly that’s all you need to deck this kid.

He has to to go away in the summer and pump some iron. He’s built like an under 14s player.

you've spelt footballer wrong?

He's been involved in twice as many goals this season (6) than Mavididi (3).

In short: Thomas is more of a winger than Mavididi.

That's a hell of a benchmark to base a 'problem solved' comment on

He's too lightweight and caught out of position too often for a left-back.

I can see him contributing more up front.

Other than Stephy, he was our worst player pre Rowett. However, last couple of months, he's been one of our better players.

I appreciate its a low bar but he's been pretty good to be fair. Played really well last night, got his goal, should of had an assist in the first half had Daka not fluffed his lines and put several decent crosses in.

Has defended better as well for a while now. I believe he's one that does care

The bar is in absolute hell but he's just shit, as apposed to shit and not bothered. Won't be going anywhere next season, probably could be in line to be captain if Hamza hopefully goes to Sheff Utd which in itself is sickening.
