Alright is our best player most weeks. Thomas was fine today, always felt the criticism of him is OTT. Neat and tidy, doesn't do much wrong but lacks the extra bit to be at this level.

I agree the issue is we are 90% alright, its the 10% when we aren't which is letting us down.

Not sure what he can do when we conceded one goal from the right and the other from the middle. Some better defending from his teammates and everyone's praising him for a good performance.

Has he ever stopped a cross? His lack of physicality just stops him from competing. Buonanotte or BEK are hardly athletic behemoths but they have the threshold ability to move.

 

Still not the worst fullback today however.

Not today they weren't unless you're judging hem on their closing down skills.

 

Apart from the goal Mads contributed nothing up front and apart from his assist Vardy hardly had the ball in an attacking mode.

I've slaughtered the lad but credit where it's due, he did what a reserve player should today and turn in a steady, decent, safe and professional performance.

Not the way we are playing atleast. Throw Vardy into a squad that gets balls into the box quickly and he can probably get 12+ goals for us. But right now he's feeding on scrap and sadly doesn't have the legs to grab the ball and make something happen, nowadays when he drops back and gets the ball, it seems to slow play down, sad to see.

This team is full of reasons to get relegated again this season, the scouting, recruiting, contract management and wages for some players are laughable, we wont move them on as no one will pay what the club pays them its wrotten to the corps.

 

JJ performances have been awful, not the same player post ACL Injury, I love Ricci P and he had a great season in the Championship, but is no longer capable fitness wise of playing in the Prem for prolonged periods, wholesale changes needed if we are to compete properly, its sheer laziness at DOF level to accept the current levels at which we operate.

 

We are surely down this season we are 1 of the 3 worst teams in the Prem, a miracle January transfer window is needed to stand a chance of scrapping to stay up, if we go down I hope RVN stays, this predicament we are in is not his fault and i truly hope he gets what he wants in the January window.

He did alright but was obviously asked to just sit alongside vestergaard and defend. Offered absolutely nothing in possession but got a few tackles in. Was also clear he was done on 70 mins, but given his lack of game time did everything we could ask

Well given he's a goalkeeper AND he's out injured, I think it's a bit much to ask him to have contributed too much to the attack today.

Maybe if he'd have sent "Thoughts and Prayers" we could have gotten a bit more from him.

I don’t think he was as bad as some made out. On the whole tidy in possession, didn’t make any glaring errors etc.

 

Dont get me wrong, ideally he’s nowhere near the team but when we probably need to go out and improve 6 positions because of pure incompetence in another transfer window you would say that him and VK at left back probably means that position isn’t one of them.

Offered everything JJ does on the other side offensively, ie fxxk all, but didn't make any fxxk ups on the defensive side.  Largely no different to having VK in the side today.

Thought he was alright but he wouldn't look out of place in a womens game. He's got zero physicality about him. I think a strong breeze would put him in A and E.

There was nothing in the way that he played that you can criticise so you have to criticise the way he looks. 

 

It's getting ridiculous now, a certain section of our fanbase need to lay off the bloke.
