Was Ok ish today (tho still can't block and fkn cross to save his life)  but we could do sooo much better if we had someone different - just someone  with fitness and physicality would fulfil that role and bring so much more

His crossing is excellent, the rest is meh

Played well in the second half and deserves credit where credit is due. The more advanced role suits him with less defensive responsibilities which he has proved time and again he can’t do.

Luke works hard unlike Martins signings.

I do but I wouldn't suggest playing in the city side would be a good idea

Gee whiz….  Watch the player in the game as opposed to fall in to lazy trap of believing the flow of negatively …. He was easily one of the best players on the pitch today

say it when he’s bad, but equally say it when he’s good…. And today he was very good

And yet the equalising goal still comes from his side. I’m not saying he was directly at fault but did he do enough? No.

For the past two + years I’ve had to watch Luke Thomas attempt to defend and inevitably plays a part in us conceding a goal nearly every single game. I’m sick of him. He’a fvcking shit and a few 6/10 performances in league one (when we’re used to 2/10) will not recover his position here.

You're right that people will look to blame him for anything, which is pointless since he gives you so much opportunity to criticise anyway there's no need to go looking for it. But he wasn't without fault yesterday. In particular that pass when we had 3/4 on 1 was absolutely diabolical for a pro footballer and cost us another goal. Pretty good game but can't say he was 'very' good

Probably my over riding opinion on him clouding me but thought his attempts at defending the cross for the second goal were poor

I actually don't think he's a LB. He's better as a LWB as we have seen in the last 2 games.

I'm no fan and I think he's poor as a LB. He's made many schoolboy errors over the seasons and he stands out as a target for opposing RW attackers.

However... the last 2 games where he's been more of a LWB has shown that that is his best position. Martin has tweaked his formation which has allowed LT to play a more forward role. He's quick and has a good left foot as we've seen from his crosses. Maybe he was never meant to be a LB and we've been judging him based on him being played in a position he was never very good at in the first place.

Luke can't defend and has no pace or athleticism, but he's always had a good first time cross. With Riis in the team and him being played further up, those crosses have become one of our most potent weapons.
