Tom12345 Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 Ndidi does not quite position himself for a pass like Mendy does, does he.

trabuch Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 We are doing quite well, but that means nothing against Spurs. Son and Kane don't need to be on the better side to score.

They move from a 5 to a 4, it looks like they defend as a four until we get in to the final third when JJ is given licence to push up in the way Fofana was at times when he was on the right of the three. JJ is frequently defending in an obvious line of three with the other two, extremely narrow and almost shackled to Fofana until its time to press. The whole thing is weirdly asymmetrical where down the left it looks very standard. I assume its a way of getting JJ, Albrighton and Fofana to all treble up on Son and leave Evans with Kane. jim5000 Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 Usually prefer the fake crowd noise to add a bit of atmosphere, however I’ve had to switch to the real sound as I could not stand the incessant ‘come on you Spurs’ that Sky were pumping through. 2
Tom12345 Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 Come on Ndidi, stop standing in between two Spurs players and behind them. Your teammates at the back cannot pass on to you. almost feels like he does not want to receive a pass

Guest seanfox778 Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 Love N'Didi. He's made a great start.
StanSP Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 Hojberg to escape a booking for how long? Two fouls already on same player
jim5000 Posted 20 December 2020 Posted 20 December 2020 Still to slow on the intercept. Ndidi won the ball in an amazing space but went sideways/backwards rather than the killer ball
