Judging from some of the past videos in the concourses at the King Power and at away games, think some LCFC fans had tried to take advantage of his 'personality' for their own gain at the time.

Glad that he seems comfortable and well.

Is he in a care home always remember bernie on the Loughborough supporters bus had some right stories he was a right character remember also young kids in Loughborough taken the piss out of him  when times were hard for him I told them to leave him alone

I've seen plenty of "yoofs" taking the piss out of him over the years and have seen some prettty unplesant videos of people goading him into one of his "outbursts"

 

Nice to see he is being cared for.

 

Didn't someone dig out and old programme feature from the 70's when he was featured and there was a picture of him as a smartly dressed, young man?

They used to be all over social media a few years back ‘lads’ goading him to perform for them while they filmed it all for their lols and social media likes. Clearly taking advantage of someone who wasn’t well.

Yes, I can remember the birch having him on the pitch at half time once as well.

Good to see him clean and being looked after.

 

Love the fact, whenever I do see these pics/videos, he's got Leicester on still! Sometimes I still see him at home games (with his carer I presume).

The away win seems to have become much more regular over the last 10 years. 

 

Back in the day I used to be chuffed if we scored an away goal.
