Watch it look like a road when Woakes and Carse bowl.

So much for big runs in the first inns, only hope is a counter attack from Smith.

I've got a sneaking feeling Woakes is going to have fun here, he likes Lords.

Good point, he really struggle in the last test.

His going to have to bowl a lot with Stokes tweak and Acher just coming back.

Not sure I'd be asking for a ball change......

Utterly bizarre decision.

Never seen a ball change after 63 deliveries. Obviously not seen it close up but didn't look out of sorts at all and it was still moving lots. Only thing I can think of is if there was a crack on the seam or something that cameras haven't picked up.

The ball it's replaced with looks shite though let's be honest lol

Looks like it's being replaced again.

Just odd to rush too change it when Bumrah had just blown away the middle order with it.

It's been an absolute farce this morning

The temptation to move Stokes up to 7th and bring Smith down to 6th must be massive. I get Stokes batting lower down the order when he's not bowling or bowling much less but he's bowled 61 overs in the first two tests.

I would much rather see Smith bat with Root and Brook and let Stokes bat with Woakes and Carse.

Think this will be a handy total to defend, no matter how many more England get now.

Very much so. Don't think we should have let you past 350-360.

Carse is a handy batter!

Joffras 1st over was the fastest in the series so far. We need him fit for the winter.

If England can get Archer & Wood to play 3 Tests each Down Under, it will be crucial. I doubt they’ll play in all 5, even if fully fit.
The Aussies batting is looking a bit fragile too.

However, their bowling attack is next level.

Looks like another day watching India bat - will they get to 1000 for my three days?

No.

Archer is about to show Gill that he's only human.
