Done a bit of a dive into Pope's stats to see how often he went beyond his average of 35. I make it 29 in 103 innings. 

 

Very much feast or famine.

I don't think any of the wickets that have fallen today have been gimmes - either great bowling, catching, or awful luck (in Ducketts case).

Probably England's day, just. 

1st session crucial tomorrow. If England can reach lunch on about 350 for 5/6 they have a solid base. New ball to contend with, with the wicket showing signs of variable bounce, wont be easy.

Hopefully Bashir shows what he can do in the 4th innings for a change.

I reckon Bashir & Root will get through a fair few overs. The wicket is so dry & the forecast is for more sun.
