I think it may be possible that fans will be phased back in towards the end of the season, but only small crowds of a few thousand. I honestly can’t see a full stadium until 2022. I think it will be unlikely to see any fans back until April/June.

I don't want to put a damper on it, but no one knows how long the vaccines are effective, if it is only 6 months, then it will have to be redone for next winter, so I think the capacity will be limited for next season!

At the end of the day if the vaccines don't work, we are going to just have to crack on with it and accept some are going to die. We can't stay like this forever.

Tbf vaccines will work but, and I think more Renard’s point too, nobody knows how long for. They might only be effective for 6 months, for example.

I do agree with you also that we can’t stay like this forever.

Is this what you've heard?

No but I've heard roughly what The FA/UEFA are planning for Euro2020 and its interesting.

Let's just say if vaccinations carry on the way they are going... grounds could well be at 50% capacity if not more. Oh and mass testing a few days before.. 😉

Realistically, we should see some fans back this season, April/May. Probably looking towards 50% capacity start of 21/22 season and full capacity by the end of that. If not then I think we will never return to normality because it would mean vaccines aren't working.

NZ is back to normal already as they worked it out early doors and probably benefit from demographics. There is hope but then again, UK is Top 5 in deaths worldwide.

Perfection. No travel allowed in and out, so hopefully all semi final and final tickets go to the UK population, happy days:D

Yes definitely. This current strain is another level to the first. The amount of PPE we are wearing has doubled and the infection rate is so high. My nan has just caught it and within 3 days we have had to say our goodbyes and it's just a matter of time now 😢 work is a scary place right now.

So sorry to hear that. I lost my Dad 2 weeks ago. Such a wicked virus. Take care.

Rumour has it we will get a refund from UEFA for our tickets then have to re apply with it potentially being reduced capacity.

Currently I'm a 'top capper' with the ESTC so hopefully I'll get tickets all the way to the final again.

If we can't get in at this tournament I'll probably go Qatar(something originally I said I wouldn't do)

Not really.

We have flu jabs every year. We've now got huge mass manufacturing of jabs going on.

If it turns out that they only last 6 months then it really shouldn't take long to start rolling them out again given the infrastructure we have now in place.

It was the testing and development which was the time consuming bit.

I will be absolutely disgusted if it's any later than the first day of next season. There is no reason it shouldn't be.

Crikey, that is brutal. My sincere sympathies to you and your family.

And again. :nono: I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, and kudos for your words of support to others when you are grieving.
