Well you are top of one league - by quite some way!

Scary as **** that Man City and Chelsea are both voted in the top ten "Most Admirable".  Should be down below even the Glazers.

Some will love the fact they have spent billions and wins things.

There will be fans out there who don't care where the owners are from or what they do so long as they bring success.

See Newcastle for example.

Man City owners have spent billions building communities in Manchester that were left to ruin, including homes and jobs.

Well you say that…..

Thailand’s situation isn’t that audible to the West but I’m sure if it was, the impression wouldn’t be so good

Reading up on the recent and past situation is interesting.

The economist writes about a potential return to absolute monarchy,

In political, financial and military matters King Vajiralongkorn has gained powers never possessed by his father.

Is King Power the most appropriate of names...............?

I'm not really seeing it tbh. A few football academies doesn't make improving communities.

Didn't they back the council with millions of pounds or something to build up the local area?

Yeah I'm not sure why we are so low when we have owners who took us from 15th in the Championship, to consecutive 7th place Prem finishes and Europa League QFs as soon as we got promoted.

Wolves are just very forgettable. Sorry lol

This where football fans but their club before everything else. Chelsea fans act the victims but weren't they the ones chanting Roman's name.

It says have done "an admirable job."

It's not about morality. It's about what they've delivered. The City Group and Abramovich have delivered trophies and success, the Glazers have not.

Whilst these things are technically true and East Manchester certainly isn't as horrendous as it used to be, they have built many apartment buildings that don't exactly fall into the 'affordable housing' category, which as you can imagine has caused its own problems.

Also, wasn't the overhaul of East Manchester down to the 2002 Commonwealth Games as much as anything? Regeneration that included the building the CoM Stadium before Man City took it over? Whilst they helped and built the Etihad Campus, it's not as if East Manc was a baron wasteland when the owners got involved. It had already had serious investment from the council and Central Government at the time.

The ground was part of a complex for commonwealth games, that was investment, but that was it. It was still sorrounded by derelict land at that time.

New piece in the Athletic speculating Kane will be off to Man United this summer.

- Cannot see Cavani, Martial, Rashford, Greenwood as adequate attacking options going forward. Ronaldo is icing on a non-existent cake (but wants to stay).

- Haaland most likely to end up at Man City.  So United will need a statement signing and shirt seller.

- Levy will cash in with 2 years left on Kane's contract.

- Jorge Mendes working "on his own accord" to sound out leading strikers in Europe, especially Darwin Nunez, about moving to United to play 2 up top with his client.

If you were a Spurs fan you’ll hope it’s United. They won’t hard ball on price like Manchester City so will likely play over the odds. Could easily still squeeze that £100 million touted last summer out of United, if not more.

And as a spurs fan you wouldn't like to see him lifting major trophies, and at Man utd he won't.

Refs to train with clubs next season as suggested by Ralf Rangnick.

Not sure how that will go down

Just thinking of the outcry from a team if a ref gives a decision against them for a club they had been training with.

And  don't think relations are really going to improve in the heat of a match - players are still going argue decisions and influence officials.

Not going to stop them making errors either.

Not read the article so please excuse me, but how does this benefit anyone in any way? as you say imagine a ref had been training with Everton all week and then Everton get a dubious decsion it will wind people up and make them question the legitimacy of it as people already do. Look at the respect rugby refs are shown, as far as I am aware they do not train with club teams. Just my take on it.

No problem

Totally agree.

In rugby the refs don't seem afraid to punish forms of dissent and everyone can hear what is being said by both them and the player which helps any understanding of a decision.

Refs should train with their local clubs that they aren’t allowed to referee (or the club they support and cannot referee).  If a ref is able to take any prem game then he should train each week with a different PL club …

Would make sense.

Michael Oliver with Newcastle for example.

Do the likes of Anthony Taylor ref the Manchester teams?

I’ve got a vision of a boisterous group of our lads led by Maddison pushing Jon Moss into the training pool fully clothed lol
