5 live seemed surprised it was given.

Interesting. There's simply no reason to not give it. Wasn't fouled by an arsenal player and the ref hadn't whistled before the ball went in. Can't not give it

Rank sportsmanship that. Really hope Arsenal lose now

Why is it? Why do teams have to kick balls back?

It is not a foul and it’s not even by Arsenal.

Nothing wrong with De Gea now is there so he has to ask the question if he had to go down injured.

Have you never rolled an ankle? It can hurt like a bitch for a couple of minutes but quickly become comfortable

For what?

Not very sporting is it. The keepers out of the game. If that was against Leicester you'd be screaming for a goal

It’s quite obviously right to award the goal. In Arsenals defends well, Smith-Rowe he didn’t see him down. For the integrity of the game Arsenal should’ve let United equalise. Arteta would be throwing all toys out the pram if that was the other way round.

So odd. I don't get it tbh. Lets say the ref blows a second before the ball goes in the net would that mean the goal doesn't stand???? That seems all sorts of BS given Fred is the one who "injured" the goalkeeper. Does that mean instead of defending corners we should decide who's going to crop Kasper?

It’s literally beyond comprehension that, with the billions Utd have spent over the years, they have a midfield pairing of Fred and McTominay

There’s nothing wrong with the keeper either. I’m fed up Of players going down and expecting the game to stop. That’s not sporting.

I'm not sure about that. About time these keepers stopped looking for a foul every time they are touched. The keeper thought he had been fouled so made a meal of it.

Yes. If ref spotted him on ground and blew before ball crossed line it would be no goal

TBH probably Rob Green talking as a keeper.

Maybe it was more the time to give it that surprised them.

Is that in the rules? Don't think the ref should be stopping the game if the keeper has made a meal out of a challange.
