Yes and there was a foul too.

They didn't give the ball back after an injury but probably didn't help us that the player involved got up so they just carried on.

Thought so. Arsenal a filthy team managed by a rat

Sunday league referring again, how does he not spot De Gea down and stop the game.

Blow the whistle no one moans.

So play acting by the keepers is allowed? That is a slippy slope, and one we are close too already.

If you don't give it then what is to stop people getting a defender to tread on the keepers toe every time they're defending a corner? Got absolutely no problem with that goal at all.

Or a keeper pretending to pull a hamstring when someone's in on a one and one.

The outrage on here if that happened against us would be unreal. Everybody would say Arsenal are cheating again. It’s not as if Arsenal earned that goal, anyone would have saved that.

Not the Latvian women goalkeeper

Okay so my next question applies. What's stopping teams just cropping (or pretending to crop) their own keepers, get them rolling on the ground during an opposition attack? Any other player is injured at that point no way the ref blows until the move is over.

Nothing stopping a team doing that.  If a ref decides to blow game comes to a holt. Hopefully he sees it’s a teammate and doesn’t blow or waits for attack to end and if a goal VAR confirms if no foul.

As if Arteta has celebrated like that. What a priiick

He's arguably the most classless manager in the prem.

And there's a lot of competition for that title

Well yes. But we're kind of biased. We go mental on here for a LOT less than that.

When we played at Old Trafford a few seasons ago Martin Atkinson was quite happy to stop play for an non serious injury to an outfield player, so why will he not stop play for the keeper?

How would you/we feel if we scored it?

I wouldn’t celebrate it at all. Just doesn’t feel justified, not in the spirit of the game is it.

I reckon he has a better chance of saving it if he doesn't drop down like a sack of shit. Point to remember for future maybe. Why is feigning injury to try and get a free kick not the unsporting part?

Good equaliser though...nice pass from Fred. Redeemed himself.

The keeper was cheating which is also not in the spirit of the game.

For what? Wasn’t a head injury? Or even a foul?
