Daley-Campbell I reckon and that's about it, Maswanhise might have an outside shot at the bench but as we can only name 7 subs it's less likely. Nelson would surely be involved but he's not long come back from a serious injury.

Under 18s look very good and that's even with 3 or 4 eligible players stepping up to the 23s.

Am told they have high hopes for that group.

Yeah, the promotion of Adam Barradell, the U16 coach to U18's when Peake retired showed 2 things, 1) that those coming in to the academy can progress rather than its being a closed shop which it had been before with jobs for the boys and 2) he's worked with a number of this age group for a few years and it seems to be benefitting them. Last year was a learning curve but this year seems a really exciting team and as you say that's without Alves, Braybrooke, Nelson and Maswanhise too.

Keeping an eye on a 19 year old striker at Chippenham in National League South, made his debut for them on Saturday after impressing for their academy where he caught our eye apparently

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=41543

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that a host of clubs are keeping tabs on versatile Chippenham Town striker Oluwasegun Lawal two months before the January transfer window opens for business.

The 19-year-old Oluwasegun Lawal is the elder brother of Bosun Lawal who switched to Glasgow Celtic from Watford in the summer.

Glasgow Rangers,  Liverpool, Newcastle United, Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Watfrod are monitoring the 6-foot attacking player.

It is believed that Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Watford are showing very strong interest in signing the Irish-Nigerian teenager.

Lawal put himself on the radar of the aforementioned clubs following a string of fine displays for Chippenham Town academy team this season, leading to a first team debut against Braintree Town on Saturday.

He is comfortable playing as a central attacking midfielder, winger and striker, and his preferred foot is right and can also play with his left.

Prior to Lawal's move to Chippenham Town, he wore the colours of Drogheda United in the Republic of Ireland.

If we go for this guy we should let him stay there on loan playing for National League 1st Team will be more educational then our Academy, they can hone his skills level up in the summer.

Very odd set up at the minute. Maswanhise has been dropped in favour of persisting with 3 at the back. Should be 4-2-3-1 with Maswanhise Alves and Pennant behind Wakeling.
