Interesting to see the under 23s leaving a couple of players forward when defending corners

Hopefully the first team start doing it again

Strong "yer Auld Da" energy from these commentators. "I don't like these short goal kicks", "why they not crossing it fer big lads from back" "GERRITINTHEMIXER". They loved that goal, nay nancyball just DIRECT.

These commentators are great. It’s like your in the pub with some outspoken Scousers. I’m also found of the fact the outstanding workhorse of our team is a slip of a lad with long curly blond hair. Magnificent.

As expected, absolutely heinous football being aggravated with a honking selection of players.

It's crying out for 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1 with the players available.

Just bring Wormleighton on for Spencer-Adams to go to a back 4 ffs

they may argue that they’re trying to get to half time without being a couple behind but that’s missing the point

It's so frustrating Rodgers and the whole club seem fixed on moving to this formation.

I meant from the off this squad of players doesn't suit 3-5-2. I don't know how Petty thinks this is the best use of these players development.

I highly doubt Rodgers will ever move to it as a starting formation week in, week out.

Leshabela looks great again. We really got him a poor loan. Braybrooke looks above this level now. Find him a good loan club that wants to play him and he’ll be in the first team before long. The formation really hurts our attacking players.

....would like to see Maswanhise and Madivadua get hold of the ball more, we have shown we can get free kicks in dangerous positions when we attack their backline!!!

Leshabella seems in two minds, his instincts is to push and play forward but seems more conscious in retaining the ball. At least he looks a bit more like his old self.

@Ric Flair Looks like they are playing a back 4 now, Brunt seems to have shifted to right back and Madivadua pushing up to right wing

Unsurprisingly we start the 2nd half with a back 4 and we have been pretty dominant

2-1!

Spencer-Adams header well saved by the Everton keeper but off the post and bounces back and in off an Everton defender
