Since our next two u23 matches are at Seagrave, and our academy seems to have significantly less technological nous than your average online Romanian call girl, I'm making the realistic assumption we won't be watching any u23s until we play Derby away in March, offering the half chance that Derby are competent enough to stream the match to youtube. I can't decide if we're trying to hide our u23s, successfully giving this thread the middle finger, or if the guy who we employ to stream the match turns up to work with wonderfully contented look due to the spliff in each hand. Our ability to stream matches has decreased rapidly in the last year. It's mad.

I think there's a good chance none of them are shown again as they cannot be shown if there's actual PL games on at the same time and we're soon to enter the territory where almost every midweek will have PL games shoehorned in to catch up.

if Rodgers means what he said about players not having the desire back it up, bin them off and promote the likes of Brunt, Madivadua, Maswanhise, Braybrooke and Alves, I'm not saying start them but have them on the bench and crucially actually play them, seeing all and sundry play CB whilst Ben Nelson stayed glued to the bench seemed pointless

I'd honestly start Wanya Marca on Thursday in a midfield diamond with Soumare/Hamza, KDH and Maddison. Him covering the right centre and KDH the left would be very dynamic.

Ndidi at the back with Amartey please

For me and I think most people he was the most impressive player for us in preseason. So unsure why he hasn’t had at least a sub appearance

First time he has been seen in first team training for quite a while

Very strange when he has been one of the under 23s best players this season as well and seemingly the closest to the first team initially with being involved in pre-season quite a bit

I know Watford at home in the FA Cup is not Liverpool away in the Premier League (especially with them wanting revenge), but the youngsters showed a lot of heart in January. I agree: We aren't in a position to throw away a season in order to blood youth to make a point, but three or four of those bench spots should go to them and not just for show.

Man U 2-1 up over Everton in the Youth Cup; winner plays us in the quarters

They won 4-1 in the end. Let's hope the youngsters can put in a better performance in the cup than the 1st team.

Be a hard game. Man It's always have a great academy team.

We tend to do quite well vs Man Utd in the U23's, let's hope we can do the same at U18 level.

Under 17s played Scotland against yesterday, drew 2-2

Alves was on the bench

That Tezgel is someone we should be going all out to get from Stoke
