So beat Germany and you have a quarter final against either Sweden or Ukraine and then a semi against either Denmark or Czech Republic, You can't blame the draw this time.

 

The red card turned the game. The Czechs are going to be tough to crack for Denmark.

Same feeling about Schick as I had when I saw Kaputska playing for Poland at the last Euros - young, impressive player from Eastern Europe. It would be great if we could sign him. Will lightening strike twice?!

Yeh they're a poor side as far as Dutch sides go.

 

Didn't qualify for the last two tournaments before this and have players like PVA starting

Definitely is. 10-15 years ago we're talking about the likes of Van Persie, Van Bommel, Robben, Sneider and before that Stam, Van Der Sar, Bergkamp..

Even before the sending off, the Czechs stifled a lot of the Dutch threat.

Harry Maguire is Man United Captain and Kalvin Phillips is a key player for a top half PL side

It is funny when people try to compare what are actually good players to a terrible one like PVA … is Maguire the best around no, but he plays and captains a top 4 side, Phillips was considered Leeds best player so a bit different

Dutch old teams had much more impressive players. Now Dutch Team  is not at the level they used to be . Dirk Kuyt as  fighter , RVP a big technic clinical killer,  Huntelaar , Sneijder,  Kooman , Gullit,  Van Basten Van Hojdonk CRUYF.

I think if Germany beat us they'll sense their chance and do their German thing.

 

If we get through it's set up for an agonizing semi-final defeat to Denmark.
