Sky playing retro games this summer, our play-off second leg at Watford on at 2:30 if anyone can stomach watching it. Not sure what other of our games will be shown.

I'm ok with that match given our recent success. Once you are at peace with it, you cant help but admire the joy for Watford as a general football fan.

Not sure I would be saying this if we were in Derby or Forest's current position though!

I'd agree with you on that with our current success.

Less comfortable with a game from 2013 being viewed as Retro mind!

Not my words, what Sky are calling the show 😊

They love showing our 4-3 defeat to Newcastle.

They're always playing retro games but they usually include at least one but mostly 2 of the SL renegades but then they have more of them than any other games.

Very few of our League winning season games were shown live compared to the SL6 because they didn't believe we would win it until Hazard won it for us.

Was almost certain this game would be the start of our demise given the manner of the defeat but it brought the squad even closer together and we won the league at a canter the season after. A large part of our success stems from this game, so it now makes me smile when I watch it.

This Watford game is painful to watch, especially when you know what’s coming. Kane skying a free kick didn’t impress Pearson , must have thought this lads going no where.

Even this was an upgrade compared to European club soccer

Loved European Club Soccer. All the top teams in Europe included...and Rotherham.

Got burgled and lost it 😥

Seeing this brings back great memories!

And Wrexham!

I tried to play this game a few times, but could never get on with it... I have a megadrive emulator, so have just given it another nostalgic go: an 8-0 defeat  The computer can ping around before you get close, but when you have the ball, you can't pass the ball quick enough before a computer player tackles you!

The kit designer was great - as was seeing all the teams from around Europe, with something that could or couldn't have been something remotely like their badge, but having a vast range of teams - including Cypriot, Welsh, Maltese and Icelandic teams (and even teams from Luxembourg!) and no Leicester was just annoying.

My game of choice was EA Hockey, which was intuitive - the players moved to where you expected them & the passes went immediately & didn't need to be on an exact diagonal, and played more like a football game than Super Kick Off, Sensible Soccer, European Club soccer or any attempt at a football game on the system!

(Completely ignoring the OP, but these are retro games!)

The Wembley board game was the ultimate football game when I was a kid in the early 70's. Later to be surpassed by Subbuteo.
