I'm really hoping that wasn't actually at half 9 last night otherwise I'd have literally walked past him getting the train back after going Wimbledon. It looks more like it was earlier in the day though...

Ridiculous really though, there might not be a Mahrez available for us but there is still very good wingers and even a winger giving us 5 goals 5 assist massive amount more than what we get now

Was at Brockhole today finishing a Weekend in the Lakes and saw a lady wearing a Zambia national shirt.
 

I asked her to confirm it was the football shirt and then mentioned Daka. Her eyes lit up and she started chanting Leicester! Leicester! We ended up having a chat and I asked a few questions. Turns out she lives in Loughborough so for her the signing was a double whammy. Her husband and kids rocked up and we spoke for about 10 mins about his abilities and how all of Zambia are now behind us. It was wonderful and made me feel really proud how our club are now touching peoples’ lives and fuelling chance meetings like the one I had. Interestingly enough they are scared the premier league will eat his game up and maybe he should have had a spell in the Bundesliga first but have faith in Rodgers.

 

Anyway just a chance meeting I was keen to share with you all. 
 

I’ll let you get back to the Euros now.

Assuming that he’s isolating, it may have been decided that he shouldn’t be at the same place as the squad.

“I’m very much excited [for Burton]. I’m looking forward to the day. Most importantly, also, to contribute to the team, to get to work together now. Because we’ve been playing against each other in training, now we come together to compete with another team.

“I think it’s something I’m really looking forward to. It’s now the time to build connections with the players and to understand each other better and this is a good step to start,” he concluded.
