This is why I don't have much sympathy for managers at times. Why don't you just have a go? Boring the place out in a cup game is dreadful. When you're under pressure don't double down and give the critics even more ammunition.

Yeah, the cup might not be a priority but people have paid to watch and you serve up nothing entertaining or ambitious.

See Wolves had 28 shots at goal against Forest tonight. Shots on target for forest.... 0 again

Hughton's I think got one more game to save his job and it's going to be tough one a local derby.

Forest did put out the kids pretty much tonight. Wolves were strong. Enjoyable game, obviously.

Derby look much better than Forest from what I've seen so far this season.

Pivotal game, especially with the international break coming up when managers do often get dumped - Lamouchi at Forest last season for example.

West Brom have got a great opportunity tonight with Arsenal. West Brom in form playing some great football while Arsenal on a downer struggling to get the team to click. I hope the baggies to go for it and dont prioritise the league.

lol They probably were though. We're only talking early 80's, not early 50's.

I hate the ".. you'll never sing that" chants. Just embarrassing.

Remember when our lot sang it to ex winners Everton, Burnley and Huddersfield:S

Hughton's a terrible manager, has a good rep because he's a nice bloke. Cautious managers can't be successful in the long term anymore.

West Brom too, and a few others.

Yep. Really embarrassing. Granted Burnley/Huddersfield were decades ago but Everton! Everton, not only 9 time winners, but last won it in the late 80's when the majority of their fanbase would have seen it.

It was just embarrassing all round. Nobody else does it. Just made us look like thick idiots who'd only started supporting our club because we'd won the title.

Might be speaking too soon but this is the least competitive i've seen the Championship in years, Fulham and West Brom could probably get promoted without breaking a sweat.

The play offs will probably be a scramble as usual but those two as the top two just seems an absolute dead cert.

Fully expect WBA to go for it tonight, new boss is still in 'impress' mode and he had a decent cup run with Barnsley previously.

He's got a good record at this level but the football is terrible to watch. You won't be entertained watching your team lose, that's for sure.

I predicted WBA, Fulham, Bournemouth before the season started.

WBA have announced 11 changes so dunno about tonight. They are 11/1 though. Arsenal side is pretty strong. (Before teams were announced I did fancy WBA at 6/1).

Going to have 18 Premier League sides in the last 32, nobody losing to a lower league team.

Shame to not see an upset but hopefully clubs are taking this seriously.
