We rejected bids from Betis in the summer, because dumb & dumber rated him at £10m. 
 

Regardless of what the fee was, we should’ve taken the deal. There’s not a striker in our academy set up who could’ve done worse than him this year.

Bournemouth were gagging for him a few years ago, but it's too difficult to sell players when you can just simply let them depreciate in value before leaving for nothing

Had the largest cigar and a glass of brandy after the game yesterday.  Celebrating the fact I will never have to suffer Daka playing for our club again.  Absolutely

Other than his fee, movement, control, finishing, hold up play, technique, skills, heading, wages and goalscoring record he’s not been a bad signing.

Remarkable that in that period of the first half yesterday when we seemed to have about five shots in a few seconds, deep in Blackburn’s area, Patson wasn’t on the end of any of them.

Never threatened to be Vardy's replacement, which was a tough act to follow.

Gutted by this.  Never really had the run of games that he needed.

 

Class finisher at times (when he didn't miss the ball entirely).  

 

To all the haters: He scored 4 goals in one game in Europe don't you know?  I'm sure he would have run riot in League 1.  His 80k per week would have paid dividends next season, I'm sure.

 

I'm sure he'll go on to have a stellar career and I would welcome him back in the future when we're back in the prem in a couple of years.
