alanf0x Posted 24 May Posted 24 May Awful player. Could run, could smile, couldn't control a football 1

One funny thing is Daka doing shooting practice at Loughborough Uni- his wife(?) is a sprinter and practices there. He likes to shoot into an open goal but misses quite a few…

Actually when he missed that header from 2 yards at Watford I was convinced he would deliver something. Amazon or Evri parcels when his contract expires. 6
suffolk fox Posted 25 May Posted 25 May I actually feel sorry for any team that chooses this chump next season. This man has had the last laugh though 70k a week!!! absolute travesty. I have seen better forwards playing on my local park. People liked him because he ran around a lot. Wow. Goodbye Good riddance!
funkyrobot Posted 25 May Posted 25 May Historic moment. We need to retire Patson’s unique 50p toed boots and put them in a display case at the KP in memory of those fabulous wayward finishes. Credit also needs to go to his 50p forehead. 2
ElusiveEd Posted 25 May Posted 25 May Everything has fallen into place. He must've known he was out of the door some weeks back. I'd put my house on it that it was the very same week he really started to put himself around a helluva lot more than he usually did. Those last 4 or 5 games he played I was even asking those around me in astonishment as to where this Daka had been all season? Some said he must've been given free reign by Rowett to chase down defenders and keepers, but it's apparent to me that it was him just showcasing and putting in the effort to appeal to future clubs to sign him. it's no coincidence he decided to put a huge effort in once the writing was on the wall.
broughtonblue Posted 25 May Posted 25 May Someone on this forum will state next season he is ripping 'insert league' apart, a good player but never quite delivered through lack of confidence

Yes, he markedly improved as much as he could in the last matches, but even that wasn’t even good enough. He will ply his trade on the outskirts of European football , or in some Gulf arabic club. 2

JimJams Posted 26 May Posted 26 May There's been interest in Spain. Could see him going to an Alaves or Elche or something similar. 1

Yeh agreed. In those last 5 games he went from looking like a competition winner who had never kicked a ball in his life to a competition winner who had once had a 10 minute kick around at school at play time to make up the numbers but had never been asked again. Truly astonishing turnaround 1 2

Lambert09 Posted 29 May Posted 29 May (edited) has patson only just realised we’re relegated? Seems very odd to wait this long to post…. After he’s been released. So weird https://www.instagram.com/p/DY7QIe8sfcQ/?igsh=MWJtaGtoZmxybGpodA== Edited 29 May by Lambert09
Leicester_Loyal Posted 29 May Posted 29 May Well we know from watching him ponder about the pitch for the past 5 years that his brain isn't the quickest.
CornwallFox Posted 29 May Posted 29 May I think we should all agree to never mention him again so this thread doesn't rise to the top any more and we can begin the healing process, trying to forget. 2

He always put his all onto the pitch and it's not his fault that our strategic squad building paid 23m for him and put him on a ton, then refused to try and recoup anything on him. Not even close to the bloke who trundled round with a face like a man chewing a wasp, acting like he was doing us a favour by putting on his boots 3

No ill-feeling towards him from me, gave his all (which wasn't good enough). Always struggled to hate anyone who put the effort in.
