I don’t think with Daka it was ever a case of not trying or even caring, it just didn’t work here for him.

Isnt that the case for most strikers that flop over 5 seasons, it would be hard to not try or care over 5 years

Sometimes it just doesn't work out somewhere for a player. I think he's got the capability to go and thrive in a more positive environment- very much a confidence player. I'd be happy for him if he does well to be honest.

You just know he will score bags full next season.

Well you know he won't be the first or last who has been beset by the Leicester City jinx on "strikers".

Nah Kramaric looked like quite a good player in his cameos. Patson has always looked shite

Daka actually looked quite decent in his first season, and not just in Europe.

His displays in wins at Brentford and Burnley spring readily to mind.

But when Brendan Rodgers (the "laughing gnome") turned toxic the season afterwards, his form fell off a cliff and never recovered.

If he ends up following Odsonne Édouard into the Champions League, certain folk at our club really will have questions to answer..

PS Daka STILL has more Premier League goals than Jamie Vardy did at the same age.

What? The former didn’t get a chance the latter was here for 5 seasons and went on a run of about 1 goal in 50 appearances across 2 leagues.

What questions exactly need to be answered by people at the club.

You do realise he left the club the same age Vardy made his Prem debut

Scores on his Hamburg debut (I think) vs Everton

edit… it’s actually his second game and he has 2 goals and 2 assists in two sub appearances so far.

Good luck to him

Agree.

Absolutely woeful player for us, embarrassing,  but its not his fault we persisted in playing him.

Almost seemed nice enough and would be lovely if he did go on to have a successes season there.

Some players just dont fit at certain clubs do they, and thats probably just the case with him & us.

You need to let him go..........

It's over.......

Have you seen how shit our squad is going to be this year?

Patson Daka is probably going to be the only Leicester player last or present to score double figures this year.
