tbf now they've sacked Fer Nino off to Mallorca, I'm quite happy for them to beat Liverpool. But I can't see it.

I really want Villarreal to win, just for Owen to once again look a twat, with how arrogant he's being

Was about to post the same. Made himself look so ignorant then. Clearly knows **** all about European football

His exact wording is what's wrong with media coverage.

Yes, Liverpool should win, but this Villarreal side beat a Bayern team that should've beat them. Emery is a good tactician, who knows what he could do. Just have to look at the 4-0 Liverpool game we thought Barca would walk to a win in.

Maybe I've gone a bit OTT here, but Owen is the exact kind of pundit we need rid of,

It was abundantly clear that he hadn't done any research on Villarreal. If you're going to cover a game, at least research both sides.

I want them to win as my 2 grandkids both support Liverpool after the scouser dad.

It will make them very happy.

Well I really have no problem with Liverpool winning this as it has no affect on my support of LCFC.

Petulance again from Liverpool over a throw in. Should be booked. You can't do that to officials.

Oh, you can if you play for Liverpool apparently.

I hate them so much.

I get McManaman has to be a little partisan as he is covering an English team on English TV, but he is incapable of being objective on any positive actions by Villarreal

Has a manager berating a 4th official ever done any good?

It's not like the 4th official is going to call the ref over and tell him he's listened to Klopp and the big German's argument was compelling, so better reverse the decision...

I don't think he's been too bad tbh, of the Scouse ones he's usually the more balanced
