There's a bakery in Crouch End that does these amazing Black Cherry Turnovers. I haven't seen them elsewhere and gave them a go and really enjoyed them. When in London I make a point of heading there now, sometimes a bit out of my way but usually worth it. Last time got them home unbroken, warmed them up, put some vanilla Ice Cream on and opened one up with my spoon to reveal.....APPLE! You know, the sort you can get anywhere! How I laughed .

Yeah, Dunn's bakery, discovered it about 3-4 years ago and I'm usually en route to Flashback records (which has now moved a few hundred yards round the corner). Decent Bacon Rolls from there too, you know a place is good when they're queuing round the block as they often are there.

Oh come on Webster is that it !! ..  is it secret !? ..  I’m meant to be on a diet at the moment and Mrs CF is watching my every move ..  so I buy a turnover when I’m in the truck and shovel it down with a big smile on my face …. get covered in crumbs and debris and end up with a greasy steering wheel ..  but I love it !

Very similar but love when the Mrs and kids have gone bed and I can stick the headphones on and listen to a podcast.
