Random question

I was thinking of taking my son, but it states all over 12 old need to prove they have had their final vaccination.

Under 17 only get one in the UK, do you think they will see that as his final vacc's in Poland or expect him to have 2?

Doesn't matter if you are in and out of Poland inside 24 hours.....no.proof of vaccination needed for those trips....so just make it day trip / arrive afternoon, depart morning trip

Im looking forward to a tiny end in some kind of ways.

Yeah, same..I'm due at 2pm for my priority and I kinda fancy just 600 or so of us there. In a way it creates a bit more of a siege mentality.

Still toying with upper or lower tier. Reckon just the crap will be left upper and then a v late release of all the unsold corporates in prime positions. Or go for a better seat now on lower on one of the back 3 or 4 rows.

That said, I suspect it'll be a complete free for all when you get in

What do we need to come back to the UK? I'm double jabbed so getting into Poland is no problem. Flights on Wednesday night, return Friday night, so I can do the 72 hour pre-departure test on Wednesday morning before going to the airport can't I? Then just need to do the passenger locator form? Have I missed anything out?

Any companies for the pre-departure test? Not travelled abroad for 2 years so all this COVID stuff is new to me.

I'll copy this across what I got together for a thread on the main forum

1. Fill this before arriving in Poland - you need to present in Poland with your vaccination proof

https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/fill-in-the-passenger-locator-form

2. Within 72 hours of your flight, have a test - can be any form of test provided it’s from one of the approved suppliers, can’t use NHS tests but this can be taken in the UK if it’s within your 72 hour window (ie you fly to and from Poland in 72 hours)

Cheapest I found here - Test to Return to UK:
https://www.chronomics.com/test-to-return - £28
https://travel.livingcare.co.uk/product/virtual-lateral-flow-test/ - £25

3. Before return to UK, fill out another passenger form - the details of your PCR day 2 test are required to this form - https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk

4. You must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 after you arrive in England – arrival day is day 0

Cheapest I found here -
PCR:
https://travel.livingcare.co.uk/product/day-2/ - £65
https://covid.randox.com/day-2/ - £48

https://www.testingforall.org/product/day-2/ - £48

I put a link to that originally, but I've read online they've had loads of complaints?

https://www.which.co.uk/news/2021/09/expert-medicals-removed-from-day-2-and-day-8-testing-list/

So I deleted it, didn't want it messing up someones trip because of my recommendation lol

If all you want is the code to get home it doesn't matter what the service is like

For clarity, you need to have ordered a day 2 test, and got an order code, to put on your passenger locator form to get back to the UK. Whether or not you're bothered if the test actually turns up, or if you will get the results, is a different thing. Not condoning this, obviously.

Not trying to be patronising either, but it can be a bit of a minefield the first time, I've had months of practice with my kids coming out to Spain lol

That is a very good point Deb, I will of course be waiting for the test to turn up and doing it properly!:sweating:

Yeah I'm well confused, it's a lot to take in, I've took zero notice about travelling rules and tests because I never expected us to be able to attend any away EL games.

Thank you!

Just over 1000 left now, it's going down slowly.

500 of those were blocked off for corporates. I'd wager that only 100-200 of those have been sold in reality.

All.told we've probably got only 400 going so far. Hey ho. It'll be good. No grandmas with any luck.

I've had to hold off on mine til tomorrow as the second ticket hadn't accumulated as many points as me (hard to know why, the second ticket has been to identical games as me) ....but I'm unconcerned. We ain't gonna shift 1700 in a million years

We'll do well to have a 1,000 travelling. Probably end up 600-800. Similar to what Napoli brought (they probably had 400-500).
