Noel's Addicts? Yes, I was looking for that, and it does seem to have disappeared.

 

I've got it on DVD so I'm not too upset, but it's practically imprinted on my brain anyway.

 

He talks to Ken Taylor about his unusual hobby of putting things in cider: "both me and the wife are keen musicians and I'd very much like to put my organ in cider - did I say something funny, Noel?", before Chris Bell tells him about his collection of horse drawn nuts.

 

Proceedings are then interrupted by Dave Lee Travis, who's got an old photo of Noel in which he "looks slightly different"

 

The boy band is "Man-Date", put together by Kinky John Fowler, in The Club, where Vic plays the ridiculous Peter Stringfellow type owner, Paul Baron.

I liked most of it. There's alway a few bits that don't work in that kind of comedy.

Don't know if anybody listens to Athletico Mince podcast with Bob Mortimer.  His Peter Beardsley segments have me in tears

The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer was my childhood TV. My parents had it on video and I watched it all the time as a kid. Absolutely love them both. Never bothered with generic kids tv, i always wanted to watch those videos. My mum still goes on about it now, how she used to ask me what I want to watch and me just shouting "Vic and Bob!" As an adult, I still bloody love them.
