They have the players and resources to keep it up.

I rather not see the constant backwards / sideways football with lack of goal threats when we are back in the league.

That doesn't counter what I said, even if I hope we are more potent in the league too.

Yeah I was afraid something like that was going on after the lady announcer told them to calm down 3 times or so

If I was the one to decide I'd put an indefinite away games ban on all Legia supporters just to teach morons like these how to behave and represent their club and country. It happens time and again and the Legia board are doing nothing about, turning a blind eye because it's convenient. Instead of sorting the issue out getting rid of the rotten apples (which should be done decades ago) the club panders to these morons because they are buying the tickets. I know this lot well, the trouble makers are mostly braindead nationalists (think Farage fans or worse) looking for any excuse to have a go at someone

Very sorry to see that. Embarassing stuff.

The concern for me is that our city contains a large population of Polish people.

Why is that a concern? I'd thought the local Leicester Poles are slightly more civilized than the bunch travelling from Warsaw but knowing my compatriots I wouldn't bet my house on it lol

Hope the streets and people of Leicester will stay safe and your night/ morning won't be too busy mate

In M1, there was a polish fella with a Wisła Kraków hat on. He was going nuts at the Legia fans, shouting all sorts at them accompanied with a middle finger salute.

I'm assuming it is still the case that everyone other than their own fans hates Legia in Poland?

Yes. There are friendships where Legia are partnered with other clubs but as a whole, they are disliked the most. In the same way Man U are and that Legia have a History too as an establishment club (army origins)

I left my house in Kent at 3pm and had to drive the wrong way around the M25 as the Dartford Crossing was shut due a lorry crash - standard. It took me 2 hours just to get around to M1. All in all I made it to the KP with 6 minutes to spare. But my god wasn’t all the stress worth it?! That was a far far better performance. The result was obviously great but I had expected us to beat a poor Legia side anyway. But to see a good performance full of running, pressing and just all round collective effort was exactly what we needed after Chelsea. This could be the start of our season now - let’s hope so anyway!

Yes, it's just like Cardiff Fox said. I was born in and I live in Warsaw and despise everything what that club stands for, that says a lot I think. Even if I respect some of their achievements (CL quarterfinal in mid 90s was quite something for a club in this neck of woods) I can't say I feel any connection to it. These cnuts give the city and the country a bad name. The entitlement of their fans (locally, not in Europe of course) is similar to that of ManU or Liverpool supporters, and as with every big club they have a lot of glory hunters from outside Warsaw who are there only because they like the warm feeling of winning the league every year (7 times in last 9 years isn't too bad is it ;))
