Why? Wouldn't it be better to learn game management? I'm not saying we're good at it, but we should be. Other teams do it and see out matches and are commended for it. It's the sensible strategy while also lulling the opposition into a false sense of security where we might nick a couple more.

Totally agree, and done properly it also means you don’t have to run yourselves into the ground so can be fitter for the next match.
