How many set pieces and goals in general will we concede in December?

4 on the board already with a scary run of fixtures to come. I think we could be looking at 24 conceded in total and 12 from set pieces come auld lang syne.

I've never seen a team this bad at the back that shouldn't be, it's vulgar and heads need to roll.

I'd guess at 1.5 per game. I'm not gonna look at the number of fixtures though because I can't be ****ed to even thibk about the torture ahead.

I reckon 1.5 a game would be a massive improvement

It's worse than being desperate for a pony and scurrying upstairs to find your Nan in the bath. Very ugly scenes to come.

I'm predicting 10 conceded in the league.

Newcastle 1

Spurs 2

Everton 1

Man City 3

Liverpool 3

Also Liverpool will score from at least one set piece given the quality of Trent's delivery.

How many are are gonna score.

Napoli 1

Newxasrle 2

Spurs 1

Everton 1

Liverpool 1

Man City 0

Liverpool 0.

So taking the Southampton and vllla game out of it we've lost 22 -  6. No doubt Rodgers will go on about a lack of intensity.

10 goals and 5 points in December. Sacked in January.

Just watched the goals back. There first goal Evans clears it. The ball is hanging high up in the air for ages and lands about 5 yards from the goal line. Why Kasper hasn't s caught it or even punched it I'll never know. The second goal he's stuck on his line but it's also terrible defending. There's no awareness on where the opposition players are, zonal marking does not work. You need to have awareness of where you opponents are. It's the absolute basics nuts and bolts of football. We don't change the keeper or the zonal marking then I just think we'll keep conceding bags full. Something has got to be done.

I've genuinely never seen a side so inept at one facet of the game relative to everything else. Like how is it even possible?

Judging by the post-match comments, the players aren't listening.

It's truly bizarre. Teams that struggle are seen every year, but in our case our attack is pretty good. We scored a very good goal today, quite unlucky not to score at least one more. We might not be Man City levels of attack, but we can play good stuff at times and make good chances.

Our defence is atrocious though.

Basically this is an artist's rendition of our team right now.

When was the last game we played that we didn't concede from a set piece? I honestly can't remember, was it Man Utd?

Spartak Moscow at home.

It's at the stage I'm surprised the oppo fans aren't mock celebrating a goal everytime they win a corner/free kick.

It's pure, shit scared, headless chickens in there, if we do get to the ball first, it's panicked, half clearances and we get picked off.

It's bizarre, it's not like every team we play are world class at set pieces.

We are laughably sh1t defending them I can't believe it:unsure:
