Strong!

Ndidi at the back with Cags.

Daka and Vardy!

LOVING THIS LINEUP! :scarf:

Hopefully, the Vardy-Daka pairing works out better this time.

It’s a poor comparison @Ric Flair because Puel went ultra-weak (Matty James, bless) with huge arrogance. Rodgers has gone strong, doing his best to ensure we progress. Puel couldn’t have cared less, so it appeared.

Oh my god, here's another cloth ears. It's a pivotal game for Rodgers in a season of poor performance and a defeat will be hugely embarrassing against a side we should comfortably beat man for man. I'm not saying Liverpool's B minus / C team is as crap as Newport I'm saying the defeat could be equally as damning to the managers future.

A huge chunk on here wanted Rodgers gone until we beat a diabolical Newcastle team 4 nil and then the blinkers go on until the next poor performance and there'll be vitriol once again.

This is a huge period for Brendan, I hope he can navigate us through it as he's a quality manager but many better have lost their jobs after running their course at a club and that's what's in the balance here. Big big game for the wee man.

No offence but I think going out of the Europa League was a bigger test and they have stuck with him.. he won't be going anywhere imo mate.

Might as well go for any cup we are still left in to win weather it’s this the fa cup or the conference cup. Can say rest then players for the league then they go get injured in the league next game anyway so just play the best team as much as you can and try win any game you are in and try win a trophy or 2 along the way.

And Puel survived several more games after Newport, didn't mean that game wasn't hugely detrimental to his future.
