Had my reservations about him as he hasn’t particularly impressed for the Under 23s, but I think he has had a great game today in 3 different positions (Centre mid, left back, and left centre back)

Our last free transfer from Aston Villa didn’t do too bad today either

Mitch Clark?

Last free from Villa was Albrighton in case anyone was wondering

Technically I think it was a youth keeper we signed so have amended it haha

Reverse psychology well done

Hahahaa more that I said he's been very average at U23 level like Hamza and KDH were and that maybe this is what he needs. Playing U23 football at 21 is no good to man nor beast.

Very well played by the young man.

Tbf I had never heard of the guy. Future looks pretty good for us and I know circumstances have dictated it but great to see these guys get a game.

Bizarre how he has been underwhelming for the under 23s by all accounts but for the first team has taken to multiple positions like a duck to water and even ended up flying down the left flank like peak Chilwell at the end.

His versatility could be very useful in the next couple of months. He looks like the type of player who could play anywhere and do a good job.

Today he read the game very well, snuffed out any danger and was calm in possession.

I thought he had a decent first half in centre mid but he showed his footballing intelligence at right back. Looked very calm and steady there and a great break and release to Barnes. Well done.

bertrand further down the list 😀

Great shift from Brunt and all the young lads who featured today. It's not easy for the first team boys to adapt to that many changes within a thread bare squad so they did really well.

Brunt looked solid in CDM and put in a great performance at left back where Daley-Campbell had struggled in the first half. Even managed a few marauding runs forward and a saucy turn on the wing.

I think this is actually so accurate though. Players that do the simple stuff well tend to step up more efficiently, but at the same time don’t really stand out.

Not in the 25 so not sure if he will get any game time coming up?

Doesn’t need to be registered this season, still just young enough
