If he’s going to continue playing negative football, giving away penalties and constantly giving the ball away in dangerous areas then get rid and get some cash.  No Youri is better than what we have seen for the last season. If not, play your heart out and leave for free in demand.

Still anywhere, depends if someone puts a bid for him and he wants to go to that club, or next year, he can go anywhere he wants..win win for Tielemans

More than a few stating he is in the 11 tonight- surely that means he isnt going anywhere - no way we prep with him in 11 and pull him out last minute- id imagine even if any offers did come in now they would all be rejected - we must either have this mystery extension potential or we have decided he is more important with us than the 20m

Despite his poor season (by his standards) last year, he is still a high quality midfielder. There is very little chance we could find a quality replacement at this stage, so allowing him to leave would basically amount to deliberately weakening the squad when we're already struggling. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Personally I think Youri is a completely different Character than Fofana.  More professional, more respectful and by all accounts a good family man.  Assuming he stays (he might not) I will cheer his name and hope he can knuckle down for a solid season for us.  In fact he'll be playing for a new club/contract so he'll be trying his utmost for sure.

 

I would say him staying with us and helping avoid relegation/finishing mid-table with him involved is well worth £20 million lost in no transfer fee.
