Championship are playing and have Internationals

Us and Burnley have had our Winter Break

Surely we get special dispensation to at least play 1 match that week....vs Burnley?

Neither of Norwich or Burnley will be missing players to Internationals so should try and play them then

All depends on FIFA that. They don’t normally let games be played on their calendar dates.

As has been pointed out on the rearranged games thread, Norwich will lose Sargent and therefore not be forced to play unless  they want to.   It could be that they agree to play us without him given our afcon boys are away and we will still be without a few.

Burnley got a few games in hand, they've got three extra games to fit so I can imagine they'll be keen to use up that time.

You do realise this is a sport that doesn't just get on with it?

 

The game will go ahead if both clubs accept it will which isn't guaranteed.

 

The 13 player get out was a Godsend for clubs.

As disappointing as it is for me the integrity of the competition has to be taken into consideration. Say we have to field a team of under 23s and u18s and Burnley stuff us norwich and newcastle could feel hard done by in their quest for survival, same the other way round if burnley have to play kids. Also it’s the development of the kids need to be taking into consideration, if they’re not ready the experience could be devastating for them.

Agreed, null and void this season and take last season's standings for next season's competitions.

Also, we definitely won't play Everton in the break. They have Brazilian internationals (Allan and Richarlison) so they have valid reason to enforce that break period.
