If someone offered £20m for him then I'd be tempted. His injury niggles and poor form this season make me question him for the first time. He's at that crucial age that we'd easily see him become a bit part player and struggle to get much for him in another year or so and as some have said, I sense he might not have settled here.

He's the least of our worries but given we may need to shuffle the squad and maximise funds, sell Castagne for £20m and get Calvin Ramsay in for £5m would be tempting.

I don’t see him developing further either personally, selling him now he’d be at his probable most expensive but I think we can go and sign someone else hopefully to develop under a fingers crossed fully fit Justin.

Nope. Timmy has been extremely unlucky with injuries this year, starting with that broken eye socket at the Euros. He's not the same player as Ricky P by any means, but he's a solid 7/10 each game. And when he's on it, he's excellent.

The only reason we might sell him is if we expect Ricky P to stay longer and recover to the levels we've seen him at, plus have JJ taking up RB as his own long term and/or expect someone like Ramsay to come in as back up. That's A LOT of ifs.

I’d love to get one or both of Ramsey or Spence but that would mean losing castagne or ricci. If we could get the same amount for ricci p I’d be tempted to let him move on because he has had just as many issues with form and fitness and could probably do with a new challenge. A lot would come down to players personal choice though and considerations we are not privy to. Tim and ricci are two of my favourites but those two look real talents.

Ricardo rumoured to be close to a contract extension.

His agent is working on a move from what I’ve been told and hoping a club takes the bait. Heard one club which fits a lot

And now going for Yilmaz makes more sense

Agreed, after the recent contract renewals for JJ and Ricky, it makes complete sense too.

With Yilmaz, Thomas, Ricardo and Justin, they are more than enough cover for the wingback positions without significantly weakening (maybe stuck with Bertrand for another season as well) and if we get for Castange the same as what we paid we will have money left over to add to the funds from the other suspected sales to complete the rebuild project that is being talked about.

Is much as I like Tim and think that currently he is our best fullback, if his sale with Cags and Youri is the difference in keeping Madders and strengthening in the obvious areas, I’d sell him.

Easily replaceable. I do like Castagne and he is a solid dependable 7/10 every week. With his energy, he gets into some really good advanced positions, but I’ve always thought his final ball & quality of cross isn’t the best, backed up by the stat of 3 assists in nearly 2 full seasons. Would actually give the squad more balance if we replaced him with a left footed left back

If he doesn't want to be here let him go! And that goes for anyone. We only want players here that want to play for the shirt.

He will be lucky indeed to find a club that pays him what we do so don't hold your breath on this one.

Juventus are having a huge rebuild.....

We are overloaded at full back (when they are all fit). I like Castagne, but he is injury prone, and we might make some money off of him.

Haven't we got pretty much the exact amount we should have? (Clearly, I don't count Bertrand.)

Do think we should probably move on one of the right footers for a specialist left back with a bit more attacking quality but "overloaded" to me suggests we can sell without recruiting and I wouldn't go that far.

We also have an issue where 4 of the 5 haven't yet shown they can stay fit for more than a few months at a time all season / over a year.

Interestingly just seen this

http://sportwitness.co.uk/leicester-city-player-named-potential-signing-jose-mourinho-suggestion-swap/

Although it links Pereira with Roma - which is a bit stupid seeing as he just signed a new deal - I imagine Timmy could definitely be a target for them

Mentions Veretout could be used in a deal as well, wouldn’t want him though, should ask for one of the centre backs - Ibanez, Mancini, Kumbulla
