Wesley Fofana - He is no more - finished - forgotten.

presumably any leaks on the fee have come from Chelsea or the agent

if Chelsea want it to be below £80m all in then that will be the narrative

I wonder what information we have to provide ASSE - that’s another source of the actual numbers over time …

Even an ex pro overrating Fofana , what is it they are seeing and I am not. He is not as good overall as Jonny Evans yet and will probably never be as good as Jonny at his peak.It just shows you how  bandwagons start then a few years down the line they shrug their shoulders and say " I got that one wrong didn't I ".. It looks as though we got £10 million more than I thought he was worth , so OK decent business now let's move on and put this idiot chapter behind us.

Would I take an ex pro’s understanding of talent over yours or I? Almost certainly. It’s akin to me challenging Elon Musk or Richard Brandson about the manufacturing industry and the intricacies of how to build a great hoover or a Tesla or rocket for that matter. I could have a good crack at telling them yeah ‘that looks good’ and ‘works’ but let’s be fair, I’d back them over me. Just because we as fans watch a lot of football, does that make us as qualified to understand talent?

He has not had the medical yet……..His leg was a mess.  Remember Frank Worthington…..

How do you consistently have the worst takes?

so dumb. should've told chelsea to piss off. its too late to look for a replacement now

No, an organised, well run football club works on the basis that a replacement is in as soon as the Fofana deal is done. We made the same mistake with Maguire and got quoted insane figures for Ake.

We’re now at the mercy of the selling club again.

Some of you really need to stop taking it so personally.

No I’m ****ing fed up of his “Leicester born and bred fan of the club” routine. He’s so out of touch he may as well be on another planet. I can’t stand him.

Funny thing is about all this saga with Fofana is that he could be totally clever about the situation and we'd all hold our hands up and wish him the best.

If he just comes out and says "I need to leave because I don't agree with the style of football for the last 6 months that Rodgers is asking me to play in" and we'd all shrug our shoulders and go "yeah, fair point"

He doesn't deserve well wishes and "any player would want champions League football" sentiments. He's barely played for us. It's completely unearned. I'm not going to lose sleep over it but at the same time he'll always go down as a little whiny brat in Leicester fan's minds.

The Guardian match report suggests he'll sign a 6 year deal with Chelsea. Yep, 6. Still, 6, 8, 10.... makes no difference to Fofana, he thinks he can walk away whenever he likes!

Wesley could sign his soul to the Devil and he'd still end up at the centre of the ninth circle of Hell begging to be transferred to Heaven.

I do hope we asking his agent for a refund following the 5 year contract. If not we really are mugs of the highest order.

Can't really remember another player "confirm" his move before the clubs have announced it. Very unprofessional from him but what did we expect. Disappointed to say the least. Let's just hope it gets sorted quickly now so we can move on. I think with his attitude he may be in for a shock at Chelsea. Potentially find out he's not as polished as he thinks he is.
