It’s akin to me challenging Elon Musk or Richard Brandson about the manufacturing industry and the intricacies of how to build a great hoover or a Tesla or rocket for that matter. I could have a good crack at telling them yeah ‘that looks good’ and ‘works’ but let’s be fair, I’d back them over me. Just because we as fans watch a lot of football, does that make us as qualified to understand talent?

We made the same mistake with Maguire and got quoted insane figures for Ake. We’re now at the mercy of the selling club again.

hejammy Posted 27 August 2022 Posted 27 August 2022 Can't really remember another player "confirm" his move before the clubs have announced it. Very unprofessional from him but what did we expect. Disappointed to say the least. Let's just hope it gets sorted quickly now so we can move on. I think with his attitude he may be in for a shock at Chelsea. Potentially find out he's not as polished as he thinks he is.
