We made Davies look like a superb centre forward.

I couldn't believe we couldn't handle him. And it's not even the first time it's happened this season with a player like that.

Davies is garbage

Spence on the other hand… I can see now why he’s raved about

People have been asking him to speak the truth well there it is. Comments like this, and overhaul comment in the week, it's clear he doesn't rate some of these players.

He also said we had a really good second half lol

He’s becoming a parody of himself. Sitting on a huge wedge going through the motions, slating players generally and now starting to call individuals out too. There’ll be some kind of rant about not being able to add quality in January next when Liverpool tear us apart on Thursday. The players needed some harsh words after that but any leader with integrity would include themselves in that and he didn’t even mention anything he could have done differently. Egotistical bellend.

Agreed, and Johnson.

Ranieri won us the league. Would you want him back in?

Things move on. I wouldn't Pearson back. Rodgers will go and someone will replace him. If will be for better or worse, only time will tell.

Look at ManU as an example.

We have moved on from his time but I much prefer a manager to protect his players in the public eye and give them the hairdryer treatment behind closed doors like Pearson. Don’t Air your laundry publically.

I've taken my time to collect my thoughts before posting.

It's no surprise that in a local derby the team from the lower league out-presses, out-runs, and beats the "better" side on effort for 20-30 minutes. They run on adrenaline and crowd noise.

The accomplished "better" sides soak this pressure up, quieten the crowd by giving nothing away, and control the ball.

We seemed to make the mistake of trying to play championship football with a championship side.

BUT

At half time, no matter how badly things are going, the "better" manager can get his message across and the second half is entirely different. The first 20-25 minutes of the 2nd half the manager's instructions make the difference and the change in tactics turn the game. The superior skill, game management, ball retention, quality, creativity, and fitness inevitably mean the Premier league side will control the last 20 minutes.

I can forgive being caught unawares for the first half, but 2 goals down at half time is not unsurmountable and the "better" side should win the second half, the only question being; can they win it by enough of a margin to overcome the first half.

We lost the 2nd half 1-0.

That is unforgivable. Time to go Brendan.

He has to go surely? he is delusional

I remember at liverpool the fans became fed up with him when he continually gave after match interviews that wouldn’t acknowledge their defensive frailties …… clearly he can’t be deluded but that approach is what earned him the Twitter parody name ….. fans aren’t stupid and the coach needs to acknowledge what’s going wrong. To not accept publicly that he could have chosen a more positive line up and shape with two up top is treating the fans base with contempt,

he does have to balance the dressing room dynamic with his post match stuff but what he said tonight seemed one sided ….

"We had a really good second half" is the truth?

Partial truth in that statement at best.

I hope Top gives him the P45 he deserves useless b**tard

Not gonna happen given Top wanted Rodgers here so badly.

As for sacking another manager, wouldn't look great on the people that pick these managers.

No, I said ignore that bit, I was quite clearly referring to players.

Is he the one who kicks the ball? Is he the one who mis-directs passes? Is he the one who misses the target when shooting? Is he the one who fails abysmally at free kicks. I could go on.

No.

He's the coach that works every day with the players to make sure these things don't happen. He also picks the 11 players from 25 and plays them in the system of his choosing to make sure these things don't happen.

We lost to a championship team , given we also had a break as well this performance is totally inexcusable

That was a nightmare, local derby and our players and manager just didnt look hungry. Forest must have thought Christmas had come again. Playing against a premier league team who looked half sleep. I'm sad to say this wont be the last horror show. We get at least three big hammering a season under Rodgers.

Plus that fan that ran on the pitch. Give him a long prison sentence.

You referenced the FA cup win as a reason not to want Rodgers out did you not?
